CAFÉ NOW OPEN!

The Sawmill Café at Mapperton is now open after refurbishment. Delicious lunches and teas are served from 11am to 5pm daily except Saturdays.

The Sawmill Café is in the grounds of Mapperton House and Gardens. It is a welcoming place to enjoy a cup of tea and a slice of cake, or if you’re feeling more peckish a lovely lunch cooked fresh daily. 

It is also licensed and offers a selection of wines and beers. There is plenty of space to sit within the walls of the old sawmill and admire the Shamiana  (an Indian wedding tent) or read about its history. 

The more adventurous can sit outside and watch the resident cockerels, chickens, ducks and doves. 

The café is also available for hire for private evening parties and functions all year round. 

Families with children welcome; easy access and facilities for wheelchairs.
